hm. its been about 2 weeks since i last posted... and my middle finger still hasn't completely recovered =( but heck la. at least i can still manage my shots. i just cannot dribble properly. not that i can in the first place, haha!
yep. probably everyone in the school is already super fed up with the random timings of the school gate. although i've fervently tried to understand that the uncle can't possibly maintain a 100% efficiency but sometimes it still ticks me off sometimes.
in fact, i had an adventure with ann yesterday.
haha, and i think i saw something i shdn't see... so i'm going to pretend i didn't see anything ;)
oh right, back to the school gate. it was 740 when i reached sch, and to my utmost disbelief, the gate is not open! well, that's supposed to be real surprising, considering the uncle loves to shut the gate promptly at 830 and sometimes even 815 at night without fail.
but realli, just when i thought i made it on the dot at 740! i think u can imagine what i felt when i stared at the closed gate. its a darn LONG way to the main gate larh! thanks to the marvelous architect who designed the school. and i'm meeting sl n yx at the bball courts, which meant i had to make this ridiculous detour round the sch!? it ain't happening lar!
but nvm lar, if not for the delayed timing, i would have still made it on time. so i wasn't late =)
harh! and so we decided to seek an unorthodox way into the sch. haha. i've seen people climb over the side gate... but narh. the barbed wire on top makes it kind of difficult... so we found this small gate some distance down. it was easy to climb over, but for a good reason. just when we thought we had successfully broke in, (whao, i sound like a theif!) we realised to our utmost dismay that we were locked in by two other gates! (the gate to the grandstand and the gate to the parade square if you're wondering) so we were kinda trapped in this huge red enclosure. at that moment, i thought that the initial climb was all for nothing, and that we're going to look so stupid climbing back out. the two other gates were too high for us to scale over... and plus, they also had the same menacing looking barbed wire. just when i thought we've just wasted even more of our time, i noticed a hole at one side of the fence. whao "god saved me" lor, to be quoting a certain relative. the hole was just right for us to slip right through. haha! but i dirtied my white shirt in the process. but at least i feel that i didn't dirty my conscience.
it was quite the adventure... luckily i was feeling quite high from the adventure. who knows what i would have done when i finally reached the grandstand.
i saw PEOPLE.
People streaming in from the side gate and the uncle jigglin' the keys, making his way back.
infuriating things happened so near each other.
sometimes, i'm really at a loss of what to say about the things some people do. perhaps all we can do is to hope that they realise their mistakes and change for the better.
sometimes, maybe. As people pursue their dreams, they may stray slightly from their path and lose sight of their true goal. so perhaps we also have to keep in mind that we ourselves must never become so blinded as to commit the same mistakes in our lives.
lol. the topic
seems to be going off tangent. so i'll be stopping here.

haha! all thanks to angeline, i think all conveyor belts in the world are hilarious. i hope nothing on conveyor belts comes out in the a levels, hahaa! i sure cannot take it >.<
let me take it from the start...
we were at the airport, on the day mr yong set off for US. i thought its quite sad onli the canoeists n my klass came, and ahaah! some of us got interviewed! but anyways, that's not the main point. We were waiting for mr yong to arrive when we started a topic on conveyor belts. That's when angeline actually said possibly the most shocking thing.
hahaa! i'm so sorry angeline, but this is so incredible i must post it.
XD well, you know, at all airports.. when you check in, the personel at the counter will take your main luggage and set it on this conveyor belt. Then you'll see your luggage disappearing along this conveyor belt down this black hole at the end of the stretch. Then when you finally alight at your destination, let's say America, you have to stand by and wait patiently for your luggage to come out of the same black hole along the same conveyor belt.
WELL, our dear angeline thought that this was pretty amazing. She thought that the conveyor belt actually connects
underground ALL the way from
Singapore to America, and goes at the
same speed as your flight! Then one day she found that she cannot take it anymore and she decides to ask her brother, " How did they dig the hole?"
And that one day took place
last year.
oh man, i want to see her brother's reaction lar!
and hmm. the gps system is outside the office. yeps,we can actually track mr yong's progress online. the wonders of technology.
217km. i'll probably never even complete 1/10 of that distance. but then again, mr yong wanted to prove that even ordinary people can do extraordinary things. Still, its amazing. i still remember when i WALKED 13km. i felt a bit faint after that, not to mention
run more than 10 times that distance o.0
i better not type anymore. its quite hard to type without your left middle finger. lol, twisted it
2 times in one game on tues. was really swollen yesterday but its so much better today.so shd b able to play basketball by tomorrow. hahaa!

Strength and resilience are great things in this world.
but true strength and resilience can only be found within the deepest part of the soul.
True strength lies in believe and trust.
The belief in the mind and the trust in one's legs that one will eventually reach the ultimate goal in the end.
True strength is capable of accomplishing far beyond what is seen and felt.
Because it has the ability to touch the heart.
Resilience is not giving up.
Never to lose hope of what is important to you.
But what is truly important is hard to see,
even when it is directly in front of you, even when you thought you knew.
Two people trending the same road, heading to the same destination
Yet, they took totally opposite directions and reached the same point.
Emerging as two completely different men.
We gave our wishes, our hopes, our beliefs to this race in life.
When it was ran, it has already paid off.
The outcome never mattered.
For what really shines through cannot be seen.
But i am glad that i heard it in my heart.
The sound of the bells chiming in unison
In praise.
sanity is a prerequisite to discovering one is insane.
hahaa. read this somewhere.
i hope no one really thinks i've gone insane. XD
