LOL. broke my specs yesterday.
the support thingy on the bridge broke off when i tried to twist it back [after my specs got hit by the ball
again] =( this year keep getting hit. anyways, the frame is already veri weak... and there's a crack beside the lens... matter of time it fell apart. haiya, now i cant play bball le lar~ =@ whenever i jump the specs will tilt at this crazy angle and screw my vision. yesterday i continued to play a while without specs. damn weird larh. the hoop and the board was just a blur. 800-600 degrees...lol, cant even tell whether my ball went in or not. LOL. but i guess its good training, to shoot on intuition.... hehe! =p but haha, my accuracy still dropped like mad. guess its still easier if you haf something you can focus on.
anyways, ltr i went to suntec... accompany cy go get her bro's marathon goody bag. haiya, y cip dun haf? anyways. there's nothing much in it... lol! then we happened to see the and1 competition! wa, they were so good larh? it was the guys 3on3 yesterday...waseh, watching them made me fall in love with bball all over again. they made bball look so easy! haha!
but it was an utterly miserable bball court [do they even call it a court?]. it was just a tiny space with a square marked out on it... and the net was just this filmsy makeshift thing that was so short i think the players could slam dunk if the thing didn't look like it will just break off if they hung on to it. but seriously, the space was super small and the players were all so big. its really hard to play an actual game larh. not much space to speed up and the players were mostly just grappling with each other... but we were there quite late... and its the quarter finals already... but i guess its a good thing. all the games were fantastic larh! although the space so small.. the rim was this plastic thing that bounced back everything...and the board was just
pathetic also... but haha! it was still super
shuang to watch larh! all the players [or most?] knew what they were doing... some of the games got very clear structure and framework... who's the centre, the power forward, the point guard... and i just love a game with good teamwork =) haha, although all of the games a bit rough larh. but haha, thats just the way it is? ^^
then there's this team with two veri
outstanding players. they were like,
0.o super tall larh!... it was the last match we watched... cos i guess it was getting late. [haiya! i wanted to know who won! the champion muz haf won every match larh!] but back again, wow. the opposing team was strong oso... but they simply just paled in comparison. the score was super high, 23-18 i think. other matches onli had like 9-4, 12 - 10 ... but
23-18?! its practically
x2 in the same amt of playing time lah! >.< !!! haha... and at one point in time.. one of the players was preparing for his shot... but one of the 'towers' just stood like 5 feet away from him, raised that super long arm of his and the player just gave up the thought completely. lol! scary team.
but wad really caught my attention... was that after the match, one of the players smiled and thanked his opponents for the "gg". although it
really was a good game =) ...but honestly... how many people can truly,
sincerely thank their opponents for that even though they lost? =S
today's the gals match. oh man! i reallyreallyreallyreally! wan to go watch larh! =) but my mum wans me to go vivo city with her ='( !!!

hm. just upgraded to
windows media player 11.. seems to be a more convenient player... has a black sleek look... downloads codecs automatically if u enable it to do so... but the visualisations look weird and the list seems to be shorter =\ and there's this picture thingy on top of the playlist which i
suspect is supposed to display CD information.. haha, but apparently it doesn't seem to be able to do so for most of my songs. XD so it just shows this irritatingly bland blue music note which totally offsets the whole look of the player... and i cant seem to get rid of it =@
and about the interface... just like the newer version of windows explorer it doesn't have the toolbar showing file, tools, edit... etc. instead its all compounded together into
one button at the side... and it gets quite confusing navigating around.
hm... duno about the rest of y'all... but i'm the kind of person who doesn't like to update my software... haha, yeps. i belong to the paranoid sort and i don't see the point of updating when i'm completely satisfied with what i haf... unless its really a enormous upgrade. still getting used to the new updates... and yep. once again its my tech-savvy sis who upgraded everything.
hmm. just finished reading digital life. weird its published today... thought its usually published along with the monday straits times... but nvm! haha.. i still think its the most interesting part of the newspaper. was nv really interested in politics, all seems to be a big catfight to me. call me ignorant, but it really gets irritating sometimes. yeps. n i dun read sports nor the life! section. wonder why i get up every morning to read the news for. haha, guess its becoming a habit...
today's section mostly about wireless networks. The articles are quite useful... the stuff about how to protect ur wireless. now i know how that
[basket] either upstairs or downstairs is doing it and seriously! i feel like calling the cops on him. 10 000 fine and 3 years jail. [shakes fist]changing my default...u just watch out.
there's also a little bit about music piracy. haha, which sort of reminds me of

and HM! the new zune player also downloads music using CREDITS. man, we should have patented our idea or something. haha... but HMMM... there was actually a comment that the point system was "difficult to use". well, i guess that shows a different perspective. adults will find it hard using the website... well, compared to the credit card system, the points sytem would seem to be more troublesome... that is, IF u own a credit card.
well. the news oso touched a bit bout music piracy... but basically, its sounds mostly like a one-sided argument. and it did got me going a while after reading the article. i mean, not everybody has the kind of limitless wealth that allows them to buy every CD with the song they like and yeah, they do it because they can. Furthermore, people usually see short-term rather than long-term. It just identifies with them better, even if they do understand. Somehow, i think its only a matter of making the legal means more accessible to the public. and the effort doesn't seem to be very prevalent here. and along with the on-going music terrorism, people are already cutting back...
yucks. its starting to sound like my WR... and haha, sorry. just feeling a bit emotional after reading that article.

oh man! i feel dreadful now.
its been ANOTHER
unproductive day!! >.< !!! actually promised myself that i would stop watching one piece at around 5... but i
CONTINUED to 830!! feel like hitting myself on the head now~
...but hm! the plot is starting to wear thin. now i understand why some say just skip to 200. it doesn't really make much sense here in the "kami" arc. clouds and swamps and dials. and the strawhat crew got swallowed by another monster again =\ the plot starting out okay with the quest to go sky island... but i din't like the part where luffy just defeated the 550,000,000 beli guy with just one punch. made it seem too easy for a guy with such a high bounty. then that ordeal of balls guy came along and it really got on my nerves. and it became worse when two of his brothers turned up later. that enel guy is pretty irritating also. feel like yanking on those two unrealistic ears of his. why cant luffy turn up earlier? i mean, lightling cant penetrate rubber right? i think they purposely let luffy get stuck in the stupid snake. arh~ i'm starting to prattle off again. which is not i really wanted to blog about. hm.... what did i want to blog about?

IS realli frustrating sometimes. damn dangerous when u go around doing things when sometimes you can't even remember what happened 5 minutes ago. can it be some earlier form of alzeimeir's disease? =S !!!
so sad. this precious day's over just like that. haiz. tml is going to be another packed day... and it seems like i'm not going to get a rest until the weekends. hmm. mayb its a good thing we dun haf bball on sat. heh heh. can unwind and probably tidy up my room. its in chaos. okay, maybe it doesn't look like a tornado's been through it but the files, papers, books are stashed all over the place. and i haven touched them since the promos... and its been sort of building up... and a pile recently accumulated itself in front of the mirror i'm getting difficulties seeing myself in it... haiya! i actually wanted to clear those junk by today... but looking at the sheer size of it turns me off already. and hmmm... shd i be starting to chiiong hw? if not... at the rate i'm going... i'll never get down to it.. XD haha.
